Faster way to 'switch off' the global search from recruiter page is removing the iView from the page.
This can be done disabling the 'visible' property of the iView inside the page inside of the Recruiter Role.
@Portal:
Go to Portal Content Directory
Search your Recruiter Role
Find the page 'Recruitment'
Unckeck the field 'Visible' for Search iView.
