Regarding the identification part, you can find a nice overview within the UI Component Workbench itself:
- Open transaction BSP_WD_CMPWB
- Open in UI Component
- In the menu bar, choose "Environment > Enhancement Definition"
There you will find a list of al the enhancement set on the system. You can drill down and have a list of all the UI Components enhanced in this set (along with the target BSP Application and the Runtime Repository name). And for each component you can drill down to see all the controllers that have been enhanced. This should give you a good start.
And if you go for a programmatic approach, the data base behind those maintenance views can be very useful.
