Re: Can't open dashboard after downgrading my Excel (and Office) from 2013 to 2010

This is a issue with the User account control in windows 7( reference KBA 1797991 )

Follow the steps below for resolution of this issue

Resolution

1. Go to Start -> Run menu, type msconfig and click on OK.
2. In the System Configuration window go to Tools tab, select ‘Change UAC Settings’ and click on Launch.
3. Change setting to ‘Never notify’ and click on OK.
4. Restart the machine.
5. Run the dashboard Design

Note: After a successful run of the Dashboard Design you can set the value for the UAC parameter as it was.
